  This year, 2015, they sent me a "bill" stating that I owed them $89 in taxes from the year 2012, including a $10 penalty and $30 in costs! I checked my records and found that all my taxes were paid appropriately, and that the $89 they are seeking is because I was not a full year resident of the twp in question so their records show a delinquency in my "account". Somewhat understandable. What is not understandable is why this "bill" came with no other paperwork. The other twp that I lived in that year sent me paperwork in a timely fashion which included my residency information and a calculation as to how much I owed them for being a part-year resident there, all of which was taken out through my employer. It seems that this collections company attempted to steal from me so to speak, with their only concern being fixing the errors in their bookkeeping, even of those errors are due to their own lack of diligence with no regard to complete accuracy or the taxpayer.
